Speaker Series
The Speaker Series is an initiative designed to connect students with graduate students and faculty in psychology and neuroscience. These virtual session have graduate students share their academic and research experiences, discuss their career paths, and offer insights into different areas of psychology and neuroscience.

Each session focuses on a specific subfield, such as Clinical, Cognitive, Community, Developmental, Quantitative, Social, and Systems & Behavioral Neuroscience. Sessions typically include brief introductions from speakers, and an open Q&A where students can ask questions.

This initiative was created to address the gap in opportunities for individuals to learn about research and career paths outside of their immediate coursework and activities. By bringing together a diverse network of graduate students and faculty, it provides students with access to perspectives and guidance. The Speaker Series also fosters a stronger academic community by increasing awareness of ongoing research and career trajectories within psychology and neuroscience.

We are currently doing a Speaker Series for UVA undergraduate students. Please see the Spring 2025 schedule below if you are interested in attending - we hope to see you there!
